Love is a necessary but not sufficient factor in achieving the “happily ever after” most of us hope for when we marry. If love were all that was needed for a successful marriage, the failure rate would not be fifty percent. What is it about marriage today that makes it so difficult to maintain a happy and successful union? Working with couples in various states of distress has brought me to the conclusion that there is a lack of information on how to build a successful and satisfying marriage. What I see around me in society, and with my own friends and family, confirms that many of us don’t have a clue how to be in a long-term, committed, thriving marriage. What seems to be missing is a practical understanding of how to keep the joy of your wedding day from turning into the misery that leads many couples to divorce. Providing couples with the knowledge and tools necessary to nurture their relationships right from the beginning, and to keep that relationship strong and healthy through the years, is what I can teach you how to do.
